Did you know that TGIF offers you over 500 scheduled events every year? There are probably another 50 events that happen spontaneously as well. What better value for your money. It's a year of great fun and good company!

At the current new membership rate, that's about 64 cents a day (40 cents for renewals) to assure that there's something for you to do with other Singles - ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DAY!

No Cost Outdoor Activities

We have over 30 scheduled picnics, slow pitches, walks, bike rides and talks in locations all over the Lower Mainland. Another 35 or more events are organized by our TGIF volunteer co-ordinators in locations ranging from Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Comox, Parksville, Nanaimo, Richmond, Burnaby, Steveston, Langley to Port Moody, North Shore and White Rock.

Low Cost Group Activities

Over 20 Pot Luck dinners, parties and picnics are featured for festive holiday weekends. Special events include Card & Game nights, Cheap Seat Home Movie nights, carol singing and tree trimming parties. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day parties add to the list.

Low Cost Events

TGIF members love to dance! In fact, over 52 dinner dance functions are held in over 19 Lower Mainland locations. We take over 20 dance lessons that include Jive, Ballroom, Latin and Line dancing. And, we dance another 10 times to music that spans all tastes from Disco to live Swing Orchestras and Country & Western bands.

We eat out a lot too - another 18 events in 15 venues cover everything from fine dining and brunches to dim sum and picnics. Then there's wine tasting, and wine making...

Our interest are wide and varied - functions and events include Jazz nights, musicals, folk festivals and fireworks. Live theatre and Monday Night at the Opera are only a few of the Arts events we take in.

Participation sports of all types provide fun and exercise... golf, kayaking, hiking, white water rafting, pitch & put, slo-pitch tournaments and indoor climbing. Or, you can slow things down at bit with baseball watching, whale watching, beachcombing...

Self Improvement

Seminars, workshops and fireside chat discussion groups are also available - including the Singles Show.

Get-Aways

TGIF organizes 12 weekend events as well. Locations include Whistler, Victoria, Nanaimo, Comox, the Okanagan Valley, Indian Arm and Mount Baker. They include Murder Mysteries, Clambakes, Jazz Festivals, Wine Tours, Hide-away's, Tulip Festivals, Ski Trips and Sleepovers.

There is something for everyone. . . including trips to the Sun of two or three weeks, Cruise ship adventures, and sailing trips through the Canadian Gulf Islands.
